Qigong Retreat in China

Now you can! It will be offered for the first time in HangZhou, China during Oct. 18 -24, 2007 with bonus spiritual tour! Hangzhou is known as "Heaven on Earth" in China, and is Grandmaster Qinyin's hometown. It is a place with a deep karma with Qinway Qigong.

Itinerary/Schedule:

Oct. 18, Thursday:

Arrive in Hangzhou International Airport in Zhejiang Province, China (you are responsible for your own air ticket to and from Hangzhou). You may take a taxi to our retreat facility near the scenic West Lake (about $15-$20). Stay at our retreat facility, which is about 10 minute away from West Lake in walking distance. You will take care of your own meal today, which shall be light and mostly vegetarian to prepare for the Special Ability Rejuvenation Retreat on the next day.

During the day, Grandmaster Qinyin will bring you to visit Spirits' Retreat (Linying) Temple, which is the most famous in South China inscribed by an emperor. It was founded by an Indian monk over 1,600 years ago, when he saw spirits retreating in this area. It houses a gold-gilded Sakyamuni, which is the largest sitting Buddha statue in China.

Then we will tour the unique Airborne Peak. The founding monk of the Spirits' Retreat Temple wondered "how did these rocks fly to here from Mt. Lingjiu in India where Buddha taught?" There are many Buddhist statutes carved out of it, making it a large collection of artistic treasures.

Oct. 22, Monday:

In early morning, we will do Heavenly walking Qigong around West Lake, energetic communication with trees and "talk to the West Lake Spirit." Tour West Lake area in an open tourist van. Visit the famous Baopu Daoist Monastery where the renowned Daoist Baopuzi used to distill elixir there.

The beauty of West Lake has been tiredlessly praised by Chinese poets over and over. We will relax in an ancient boat afloat West Lake, visit one of its islands and "Three ponds reflecting the Moon", then back to our retreat facility.

Oct. 23, Tuesday:

Special Ability Rejuvenation Retreat (indoor, closed Qi field teaching)

Oct. 24, Wednesday:

In the morning, we will arrange a bus to take you back to Hangzhou International Airport. If you wish to leave at a different time, you shall be responsible for your own transportation to the airport.

Special Bonus:

The addtional spiritual tour is a free bonus for new students. Repeat students only need to add $298 for upgraded spiritual class/tour (you may use Virtue Credit from Qinway).

Special Notices:

1. The content and format of Special Ability Rejuvenation Retreat are the same as in the US. In particular, we will arrange a high energy closed Qi field at our retreat facility. Therefore, you are not allowed to deviate from our group activities during the retreat.

2. To guarantee the retreat quality, Qinway Qigong Institute will provide all "energy meals" during the retreat and spiritual tour (Oct. 19 - Oct. 23).

3. All your lodging will be sponsored by Qinway Qigong Institute throughout the retreat, evne tour days (Oct. 18 - Oct. 23) as part of the high energy closed Qi field.

4. If you wish to stay in China after Oct. 24, 2007, or do not leave for Hangzhou Airport with our group, you shall sign an additional agreement releasing Qinway Qigong Institute from any responsibility, including your choice of departing from other airports.

5. The cost of retreat in China is $3,600 for new students. For repeat students, it is $,1800 plus $298 upgrade fee.

6. Qinway Qigong Institute reserves the right to modify the above itinerary or schedule as it sees fit.

Registration:

Early registration is required to secure a position in this unique program with a very limited size, since the retreat will be held in a special signal house instead of hotel to guarantee a stable high energy qi filed. To register, please fill out a retreat registration form (please indicate on the form the date and location of retreat), and pay half of the total program fee as the non-refundable registration fee. For repeat students, the non-refundable registration fee is the same as the full program fee.
